It’s really easy to customize Peadig and one great way to do it is by using child themes. All you need to do is download the template by clicking the button below, read the rest of this page (it’ll only take 2 minutes) and you’ll be able to make a completely bespoke website whilst using the great features Peadig has to offer.
It’s a 2 step process. Really.
- Download the zip file above
- Upload it via FTP to
wp-content/themesor navigating to Appearance -> Themes in your WordPress admin area, then clicking Install Themes -> Upload.
The zip file you downloaded has only 3 files:
functions.php– this is your functions file. You can use this just as you would a normal theme, plus you can add in all the hooks Peadig has to offer
style.css– this is the CSS file you should use to design the child theme, but ensure you leave the code at the top intact!
nggallery/gallery-peadig.php– this file is the gallery template if you use the NextGEN gallery plugin. You can ignore this file and is only used to connect the theme with the plugin.
