Although it’s been just under 3 weeks since our last update, we’ve updated a lot for Version 1.3.0 including an update to the latest version of Bootstrap 3.0.3 and feature additions from user feedback. We’d also like to thank Martin MacDonald for writing a great post about how Peadig has improved page speed by 900% for his venture Web Marketing School.

Version 1.3.0

Major Updates

  • Creation of functions-deprecated.php for old functions with their removal version
  • Migrated old post notification into a default hook DefaultHook::old_post_notifications()?
  • Created default hook for header social icons DefaultHook::header_social_links() for easier overwriting in child themes

We have plenty more updates coming soon and can’t wait to release them. We’re also planning to release a few child themes in January making it even easier to take advantage of Peadig’s framework!
