Have you ever watched the news channels on the TV and noticed the news tickers along the bottom of the screen. Its pretty cool isn’t it. I was watching it recently thinking…

“It’d be cool if I could have a news ticker like that on my WordPress site”

Demo please before I even entertain purchasing. A demo with all news themes. No demo makes me reluctant to purchase! Sorry but it does. Thanks for a good plugin though!

    Hi Shane
Using News Ticker Pro but would like to reduce the height of the tape and reduce the font size. Is there an option for this please.
Or if there is no option can I request some code to do this.

Using firebug I can reduce the height down to 30px which looks good for me and font size down to 14px.

I have put the css in my styling but this slows the load of the plugin down too much so I would like a direct option if possible.

    Please let me know thanks

    Hi Shane,

Your News Ticker Pro looks great and is exactly what I have been looking for.
I am interested to use the horizontal scrolling ticker as a footer across multiple pages of a website.
Is there is a way to make the scrolling ticker resume the place it left off when the user clicks to a new page so it wouldn’t have to start again?

    Thank you kindly,

      Hi there,

Unfortunately not at the moment. There are a few ways to do this. For this to happen we would need to either keep the ticker on the main page and load all of the content dynamically above it into an iFrame or AJAX replacement techniques. Alternatively we could pass a start position to the next page.

I’ll add this to the roadmap for the next (well overdue) version of this plugin.

Thanks for letting me know Shane.
When do you expect next version of the plugin to be released with this function?
    Thanks so much.
